MV FAAH YAI

The MV Faah Yai was built in 1996 as a private dive yacht, and converted in 1998 to a liveaboard diving vessel.

She is designed for diving and adventure tours in Burma's remote Mergui Archipelago.

MV Faah Yai was purchased in June 1999, with the intention to run Myanmar diving only cruises, the advantages are obvious, direct access via Ranong, shorter cruising times, more dives, less stress and the advantage of sailing further North (Cabusa islands).

The basic philosophy of Faah Yai is 'home from home'. Faah Yai is a wooden boat and we exposed the natural wood as much as possible.

The wood is either lacquered, where grip is not a necessity, or oiled where the grain is needed to provide grip.

The cabins and dining area are carpeted.
